In this video I review several of the X360 headsets that I have used and ended up hating over time. It is important to note that I have owned every product I talk about but I only show a handful as these were the only ones I have hung on to over time; which to be honest I have no idea why some of these are still lying around. They should be in the garbage. My point is that instead of hearing a review based off someone else’s opinion these views are all based on experience. Mine.
I go over some of the pros and cons of the other headsets and express my opinions on some of the other manufacturers products. I know people want to swear by their Turtle Beach headsets or even their Astros but I explain why neither of these companies offered products that worked for me and the applications I intended them for. I should also mention that I have easily spent over $1000.00 on Turtle Beach products only to be disappointed when each one of them failed. With Astro, I would still be tethered to by controller if I wanted to talk in-game. My Tritton Warheads allow me to do exactly what I wanted to do, even though the price was pretty steep; but not as crazy as Astros.
Everyone has their opinion. This video just explains mine. Keep that in mind before spreading the hate. Thanks for watching!

Nice review video! I haven’t had NEARLY as much experience with headsets – but when I did my research it was a lot of the same criteria (big head, completely wireless, decent quality). I ended up getting the TB Black Ops 2 Tango wireless dolby whatever thing. I like them so far – though it’s only been a few months so I can’t speak to the long term durability. The price was about $200 at the time.
I will have to look into these and possibly consider updating the review!
Well, I doubt they’re going to change your world or anything, Sinn – if you’ve already sworn off TB (and, from the sound of it, who could blame you at this point?) they’re hardly the holy grail that redefines everything. But they’re decent… at least, so far.
I just like to make sure I do all my homework, that way if I do a review I can always talk from experience. For whatever I reason I always assume people will appreciate the review more that way. But yes… I have pretty much given up on Turtle Beach. $1000.00 later, they need to kiss my ass before we can kiss and make up.
