With the release of the Call of Duty®: Black Ops II Revolution DLC Map Pack, four new multiplayer maps have been introduced – Hydro, Mirage, Downhill and Grind. The new environments offer a variety of exotic locations that challenge players to adapt to the landscape and utilize all available routes for optimal flanking. For this Pro Tips article, we’re focusing on Hydro.
Hydro

Hydro’s small rectangular layout forces teams into constant skirmishes, with a focus on group combat across the middle. As space is limited, it’s especially important to take note of where your teammates are in order to avoid getting outnumbered.
While the layout is tight, however, the map is vertically divided into three main pathways. If your team is struggling to hold ground, take note of where the engagements are most heavily focused and utilize another path to push forward and flank the opposition. Just make sure you don’t get caught in the main spillway at the wrong time, or you’ll be flushed out of options.
